Jeff Klein has been writing the Metro Perspective since 2005. It was first conceived of as a blog, but was soon placed in Detroit’s Jewish News. Jeff has also been published in the Eastern Echo, the Ann Arbor News, and the BG News, as well as some professional and trade publications. Jeff is currently working on a novel, which promises to be completed approximately when hell freezes over. He’s “working” on it, though.
Jeff began writing The Metro Perspective because he just had a lot to say and wanted to share his perspective with the world. He says, “I don’t care whether people agree with me or think I’m completely full of it. If I make them think, I’ve done my job.”
Jeff is a musician and ethnomusicologist, as well as a writer. His interests are wide and varied, and there simply isn’t enough room here to cover all of them. Some of the highlights include lindy hop and blues dancing, scuba diving, basketball, golf, and just about anything else you can shake a stick at.
Oh yeah, stick-shaking, too…
